Steve, as founder and Global CEO of Strata Results, is an experienced business transformation and information technology executive with over 40 years’ experience to unlock enterprise value for medium sized and larger blue chip organisations within ANZ and worldwide. Steve’s has a proven track record in successful hands-on execution, having successfully delivered multiple large complex programs (incorporating the procurement phase) in a variety of industries with an excellent ability to negotiate, influence and deliver (national & global).
Steve has a deep understanding and demonstrable experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, not only for the initial phases of major business transformations involving ERP solutions, but also the ongoing maintenance and support phases.
He prides himself in “rolling his sleeves up” to ensure successful delivery for his clients, not just focussing on the technical delivery of a program of work, but the realisation of the business vision that is driving his client’s needs.
Achievements and Core Competencies
- Design, developed and delivered full procurement phase for large scale SAP program in the Utilities sector, including requirements gathering, RFI, RFP and Vendor selection process ($20m)
- Delivered largest implementation of Microsoft’s Dynamics AX into a retail environment ($48m), being initially responsible for the full procurement process, Vendor / Product selection and then contract negotiation
- Responsible for the negotiation of the Whole of Victorian Government contract for an Enterprise Asset Management solution. Working directly with the Victorian Government Lawyers and internal procurement auditors, Steve was responsible for the delivery of this $40m contract
- Accountable for the scoping and Business Case development for a 5 year major SAP program in a Victorian based Manufacturing client.
- Accountable for a large scale program for global gaming client ($25m), delivering the first major phase and delivering a negotiated procurement contract for ongoing Managed Services & Support.
- Delivered complex program for Australia Post (Digital Mailbox), being also responsible for Vendor Negotiation and Management for over 40 national and international Vendors – including the establishment of all contracts.
