Humanitarian and technology leaders collaborate to streamline the delivery of emergency assistance
Melbourne, Australia: March 08, 2022 – Strata Results Group (SRG) would like to announce that it has successfully delivered a HRIS Implementation project for RedR Australia.
A new online portal centralising recruitment and deployment operations is enabling international humanitarian response agency RedR Australia to provide faster and more efficient assistance to countries affected by conflict and crises.
The RedR Hub, launched in September 2021, provides staff, roster members and humanitarian deployees with a one-stop shop that consolidates a range of human resources and administrative functions.
In addition to providing a more efficient and user-friendly online experience, the RedR Hub ensures that RedR Australia personnel are mobilised rapidly, managed effectively on deployment and return home safely having made a positive difference to vulnerable communities.
RedR Australia engaged the services of Strata Results Group to deliver the RedR Hub, which has been rolled out across the organisation’s offices in Melbourne, Fiji and Jordan. More than 750 RedR Australia roster members representing 25 nationalities have been on boarded onto the system, where they can apply for deployments to host organisations in more than 30 countries around the globe.
RedR Australia selects, trains and deploys technical specialists to support partners before, during and after disasters. A Standby Partner to 15 United Nations agencies in the southern hemisphere, RedR Australia provides professional humanitarian assistance to national governments, emergency management bodies and multi-lateral organisations in the Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
The compounding and concurrent crises of COVID-19, climate hazards and conflict have increased demand for RedR Australia’s humanitarian expertise, with the RedR Hub playing a vital role in the rapid deployment of experts to help countries prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies.
With collaboration a core guiding value, RedR Australia CEO Kirsten Sayers said strong partnerships coupled with fit-for-purpose technology platforms enable the organisation to have significant global impact.
“As part of RedR Australia’s ongoing commitment to increasing efficiency, we reviewed our internal business processes and management systems and found Strata to be a natural fit for this project. The RedR Hub helps us to stay and deliver for partners in the face of new and rapidly evolving humanitarian challenges across the world,” Ms Sayers said.
Strata Results Group CEO Steve Anglicas said the company was proud to support RedR Australia in its delivery of humanitarian assistance to communities, partners and countries.
“Strata is pleased to deliver a system that plays a part in RedR Australia’s delivery of support when and where it’s needed most to ensure humanitarian professionals get to the right places, at the right time,” Mr Anglicas said.
